Sister Cities International Southern California Chapter President Gil Garcia and Secretary Marti Correa attended the glorious Santa Barbara – Toba, Japan Sister City 50th anniversary event that took place on Sunday, January 24 at the Santa Barbara public library Faulkner Gallery.

In addition to delicious Japanese cuisine the attendees enjoyed a fascinating slide show of activities over the years that promote understanding and that honor the unique characteristics linking the cultures of the two communities and countries.
