On June 16, 2022 Sister Cities International Southern California Chapter, Huntington Park Sister Cities-IFTA, the Volunteer Fire Department, and San Julian, Jalisco made a partial delivery of requested equipment, that was stored in a San Julian Warehouse to the municipalities of San Francisco del Rincon in the State of Guanajuato and San Diego de Alejandria in the State of Jalisco, Mexico. Fire fighters from these two cities and other cities will be invited to participate in a scheduled training symposium where more equipment will be donated in accordance to need based on training. Thank you to all of the sister cities and IFTA volunteers involved in this program who provided much needed training and equipment at no cost. Special thanks to IFTA founder Bret Russell for his extensive volunteer work in obtaining, storing and shipping significant quantities of equipment to small communities in Mexico in dire need of the donated training and equipment.
