The San Diego Sister Cities Committee has planned an outstanding program for September 7 with lots of surprises and an inspirational program for Youth Programs. A full agenda will be sent later, but some highlights will be: a presentation by Youth who attended the 2019 SCI Youth Leadership Summit in Houston; Carol Robertson Lopez, SCI Vice Chairperson and the incoming SCI Board Chairperson (2020-22) will be in attendance to meet SoCal Sister Cities’ representatives and to give an update on SCI; an overview of the San Diego programs.

The San Diego host committee would like to get a count of those who will be arriving on September 6 and spending the night. The San Diego Marriott-DelMar will be the hotel headquarters. 11966 El Camino Real SD92130. We currently received a quote for $127 for Sept 6th Depending on the number of people arriving on 9/6, they would like to plan a small reception at the hotel followed by a no host dinner in the Arterra restaurant or Terra Cafe.
