Sister Cities International Southern California Chapter joins Rotary World Peace Conference 2016
The Rotary World Peace Conference 2016 was held on Friday, January 15 th and Saturday, January 16th at the Ontario Convention Center in Ontario, California. Sister Cities International Southern California Chapter hosted a booth during the two days to share information about and encourage joint projects between Rotary International and SCI local groups.
The conference featured more than 150 experts on ways to address terrorism, war, religious conflicts, civil rights, domestic and gang violence, cyber-bullying and other areas of conflict in our communities, our nation and overseas.

Beyond the main speakers, attendees were able to attend classes offering practical information along “tracks” such as eliminating conflict in daily life and at home; developing safe learning environments in schools; protecting and rehabilitating your community, and embracing civil rights and reducing conflicts.
